Yoga Therapy is specific to the individual. It combines restorative supported yoga forms, such as restorative yoga, gentle yoga, breath work, affirmations, guided medication, yoga nidra and Ayurveda techniques that offer a sense of “wholeness” and embodiment. It is a helpful choice for those who need something gentle yet effective for bringing the body into balance and reducing stress. It works with you in where you are at.

Yoga Therapy is a deeply meditative experience and it provides an individual with the opportunity to step away from the busy-ness of the outside world and access the deeper wisdom and peace that resides within you at all times.

Helping you to design your own home practice set up.

Yoga Therapy is designed as a one one one experience to be able to go deeper into your body and address physical and emotional issues. Energy healing through Reiki and a healing cleansing techniques to help rebalance and restore and also incorporated to help find ease in your body.

As a mental health counselor and a yoga therapist I used a trauma informed approach during these sessions. Blending breathing techniques, mindfulness meditation and the physical practice of yoga to get out of the mind and into the body in a way that is empowering and healing.

A Yoga Therapy session also involves an individual approach in that is is designed to meet your specific needs and is also designed to incorporate a practical yoga routine into your daily life. It is meant to be designed so that you can practice it anywhere and you don’t even need a yoga mat!

I can help you go deeper into your practice and create at a home practice to help you find peace and balance daily.
